XAXIUS CHOOSES INTERNAP

Canadian eBusiness Solutions Provider Selects Internap for World Class IP and Colocation Services

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (February 2, 2007) Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a leading provider of performance-based routing solutions over the Internet, today announced that Xaxius, a Canadian eBusiness and IT infrastructure solutions provider, has switched to Internap as its exclusive provider of colocation and premium Internet connectivity services. The combination of Internap's robust data center and Performance IP service offers Xaxius a reliable, secure location to host their applications with connectivity that delivers the performance necessary to serve its customers around the world.

As a small company we looked for a full-service provider that could be innovative in solutions they provide and accommodate dynamic growth, as opposed to just renting out space and bandwidth, said David Machika, founder and president, Xaxius. Internap's intelligent P-NAP architecture was a model we were specifically looking for to ensure reliable connectivity. Their global footprint also provides our US-based offices with failover to an easily accessible, fully redundant data center facility as part of our disaster recovery plan. The bottom line is that Internap has let us improve our service and become much more competitive he added.

Internap optimizes the performance of Xaxius's applications using a patented Private Network Access Point (P-NAP) architecture that intelligently routes traffic across multiple backbones. The Performance IP service insulates traffic from network incidents and congestion to provide stable, predictable connectivity. The service is backed by a proactive Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a 100 percent uptime guarantee, and is supported 24x7x365 by a team of certified network engineers with end-to-end visibility and control of Xaxius's Internet traffic.

According to an independent study conducted by AMI-Partners in 2006, enhancing data security and deploying in-house or hosted data backup and disaster recovery remain priority issues for many Canada-based small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), with key drivers being improvement in Canada's economy, and SMBs' desire to gain a competitive business edge via effective deployment of IT solutions. The study also found that Canada has a 95% Internet penetration, which is a key driver for increased e-Commerce and related services, such as those offered by Xaxius.

Given the existing broadband penetration rate in Canada, we believe there's significant opportunity for Internap to add value to multinational businesses in need of premium business-grade connectivity throughout the regions said James P. DeBlasio, chief executive officer for Internap. As more companies, like Xaxius, look to take advantage of these underlying trends and growth opportunities, Internap will continue enabling the delivery of their high-value applications across the fastest, most reliable routes.
